Job summary

Kronospan is seeking a packaging operator to perform VITS paper packing installation, including strapping, wrapping and labeling. You will inspect products, ensure accurate packaging and data entry in Kronospan's Operations System.

You may operate a forklift to move materials between departments and truck loading, supporting continuous production on the line. Role requires the ability to read technical instructions, operate heavy machinery, and work with tools.

Job Description

Perform the VITS paper packing installation including: strapping, wrapping and labeling. The personnel are responsible to ensure all products are properly inspected, packaged and all the information has been entered in the Kronospan Operation System. Further duties may include operating a forklift to transport paper and materials between departments, plant areas or truck loading. The personnel are responsible to ensure all products are properly and safely managed and transported; assisting maintenance personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment in order to support continuous operations on the production line

Qualifications

• The ability to read and comprehend work instructions of a technical nature.

• The ability to be trained and become certified to operate a forklift.
