Job summary

Kronospan, the world’s leading producer of wood-based panels, is seeking dedicated individuals for Lantech operator roles in the United States. The position involves packaging products, basic maintenance, quality checks, and collaboration with teams to drive productivity and safety.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate all tooling and machinery required to perform required job duties.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality of finished material.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems during day-to-day production; understand escalation process.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks involved in packaging product according to plan.
• Perform basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on everything in the area of responsibility.
• Keep machines stocked with raw materials and work with all personnel regarding raw material quality.
• Perform visual inspections of all finished products being moved and/or loaded onto outbound trucks.
• Identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate corrective action.
• Work closely with team members, supervisors and leadership to identify, report and correct quality issues, productivity improvements, or cost reduction initiatives.
• Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.

What You Will Do Here:

Lantech operators are responsible for performing all tasks involved in packaging product according to plan. What You Need to Succeed:

• Previous forklift experience
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

• Sitting, standing on concrete, walking, climbing, heavy lifting, push/pulling, reaching, bending, vision, hearing, dexterity of hands and fingers, and written and verbal communication.
• face shield/goggles, dust mask/ respirator, hard hat, ear plugs, and high visibility vest required
