Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Corp. seeks a Performance Coach for the Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA. You will lead four crews on paper machines 24/7, setting clear expectations and ensuring accountability for Environmental, Health & Safety, compliance, reliability, quality, production and cost.

The role reports to the Paper Machine Product System Leader and collaborates with other performance coaches to form a cohesive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Lead teams to improve EHS and compliance by identifying and resolving hazards.
• Mentor team to apply PBM guiding principles.
• Develop capability of technicians to execute asset strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technicians to improve paper machine results through people performance.
• Align asset reliability and operating strategies with Product System Leader, Area Leads and engineers.
• Verify execution of asset strategies and processes.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and quarterly development plans.
• Utilize the PSQ process in line with mill standards.
• Measure technician performance with leading and lagging indicators.
• Spend 75-85% on the floor with technicians; 15-25% on administrative work.
