Qualifications

• High School diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering required.
• Prior supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Unionized location experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach rotating shift crews in paper machine and shipping.
• Train crew members to maximize learning.
• Troubleshoot machine, shipping, quality, and winders issues.
• Monitor safety, quality, environmental, and WestRock standards.
• Conduct accident, near miss, and contractor investigations.
• Communicate status and planned repairs to mill staff.
• Direct mechanical and electrical shift crews.
• Assist outages planning and execution.
• Oversee emergency work during shift.
• Maintain housekeeping and department standards.
