Job summary

Suzano is seeking an Assistant Area Manager for the Paper Machine to provide hands-on leadership on the production floor in Pine Bluff, AR. You will coordinate maintenance planning, outages, and daily activities, ensuring safe, reliable operations and strong cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and effective use of SAP for material management and planning, with a weekend rotation and Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Paper Machine leadership role.
• Solid understanding of the paper manufacturing process.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational support in the Paper Machine area.
• Maintain strong presence on the production floor and build relationships with operators, maintenance, and engineering.
• Coordinate safety, reliability, uptime, and production improvements; troubleshoot issues.
