Job summary

Suzano Packaging is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our Pine Bluff, Arkansas mill. You will analyze, plan, and schedule mechanical maintenance activities to support safety, production, cost, and availability goals, with a focus on pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities include planning work orders, coordinating shutdowns, updating SAP records, and leading contractors while working with a team to reduce equipment failures and

Qualifications

• Two or more years in an industrial setting or a two-year degree with one year of experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or three+ years in Industrial Maintenance.
• Must show knowledge of basic maintenance planning and scheduling and be detail oriented.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Experience with SAP and MS Project is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan safe, efficient work orders including labor and material estimates and resource provisioning.
• Coordinate scheduled shutdowns/outages and procurement of parts.
• Update SAP with recurring maintenance work orders and record histories.
• Lead contractors on area projects and work with a maintenance team to meet goals.
• Maintain cost discipline and improve area availability; develop supervisory skills for future roles.
• Provide on-call coverage and weekend first response for mechanical failures.
