Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• At least 1–3 months of hands-on kitchen or pantry prep experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of cold dishes including salads, appetizers, sandwich fillings, and pantry items.
• Work efficiently with whole food products, minimizing waste.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation in prep and storage areas.
• Communicate with the Chef or Supervisor about equipment issues, shortages, or overages.
• Receive, store, wrap, date, and rotate food per safety standards.
• Requisition supplies and manage daily pantry inventory as needed.
• Follow all safe food handling and work practices.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
