Max a Mia, located in Avon, CT, is seeking a dedicated Pantry Cook to join our energetic kitchen team. The role focuses on preparing high-quality cold dishes in a fast-paced setting and contributing to an elegant cold station. Open availability including weekends and holidays is preferred.

The Pantry Cook will maintain mise en place, assist during busy services, and uphold food safety standards while collaborating with a motivated culinary team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pantry or cold food prep experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Ability to work across kitchen stations and support the team.
• Professional behavior with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and plate cold appetizers, salads, dressings, and garnishes to the restaurant’s standards.
• Handle mise en place including slicing, dicing, mixing, and assembling cold items.
• Support other stations and assist during high-volume service or events.
