Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARSdivision is seeking a Panelboard Breaker Builder - 1st Shift in Sumter, SC. The role involves assembling metal bus bars and components of panelboards according to drawings and BOMs, using hand tools and measuring devices.

You will maintain job progress, identify part shortages, and contribute to process improvements while upholding safety and quality standards. Overtime may be required and you’ll be eligible for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal bus bars and other components of a switchboard following drawings and BOMs.
• Use hand tools and a tape measure to measure and install material per procedures.
• Maintain progress and notify of part shortages; identify process improvements and root causes.
• Ensure quality through visual inspections and troubleshooting of issues.
• Commit to safe, inclusive work practices and 5S; follow PPE rules.
• Cross-train and cover other roles as needed to support production.
