Design Ready Controls Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to join our production team in Richmond, VA. The role involves assembling electrical panels, sheet metal components, and basic wiring, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.

Candidates should read schematics and be willing to learn electrical symbols while using hand and power tools. We offer a 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm, M-F) with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics and drawings; willingness to learn electrical symbols.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements; use of scale, ruler, and wire sizes.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; safe, efficient operation and proper torque.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts against the Bill of Materials.
• Assemble electrical panels per drawings; assemble sheet metal and mount components.
• Terminate wire ends and add terminals for device connections.
• Prepare panels for testing and shipping; label devices and organize wires.
• Troubleshoot basic wiring and identify potential electrical issues.
