Job summary

Design Ready Controls Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to join our production team. This hands-on role involves basic wiring, sheet metal assembly, component setup and panel wiring in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

You should read schematics, learn electrical symbols, and use hand and power tools safely. First shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with opportunities to grow and contribute to continuous improvement and 5S/Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and correctly.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts for assembly match the Bill of Materials.
• Assemble electrical panels according to drawings, including sheet metal pieces, wiring and mounting components.
• Terminate wire ends and add terminals to connect to devices.
• Prepare panels for testing and shipping, including labeling and wire organization.
• Troubleshoot basic panel wiring and identify potential electrical issues.
• Learn to identify process improvements and elevate to leadership.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area per 5S/Lean principles.
• Assist training and participate in cross-training across product lines.

• Perform various tasks across multiple product lines after training.
