Design Ready Controls in Albert Lea, MN is seeking an Assembler I to join our production team. This role involves assembling electrical panels, wiring components, and sheet metal work, with a need to read basic schematics and learn electrical symbols while using hand tools.

You will verify BOM parts, prepare panels for testing and shipping, and contribute to 5S/Lean initiatives. The position offers competitive hourly pay with a shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read drawings and schematics.
• Experience with wiring, sheet metal assembly and panel assembly.
• Willingness to learn electrical symbols and use hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts for assembly match the bill of materials.
• Assemble electrical panels per drawings and mount components.
• Terminate wire ends and add terminals for connections.
• Prepare panels for testing and shipping, label IDs and organize wires.
• Troubleshoot basic wiring and identify potential issues.
• Adhere to 5S/Lean manufacturing and safety requirements.
• Support training activities and uphold core values.
