Job summary

Hennig is seeking a skilled MIG welder in Illinois to read blueprints and weld parts per drawings and instructions. You will assemble, fit, and tack welds, and perform welding in horizontal and vertical positions, using gauges to verify sizes and tolerances. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.

Experience with galvanized, carbon, and stainless steel is preferred. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year MIG welding experience.
• Willling to undergo pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and squat for the duration of the shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
