Job summary

Hennig in Machesney Park, Illinois, is seeking an experienced MIG welder to read blueprints, assemble and tack weld parts, and perform welding in horizontal and vertical positions.

You will verify weld size with gauges, work with galvanized, carbon, and stainless steel, operate tools safely, and pass pre-employment screenings; AWS certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• AWS welding certification (D1.1 or D1.3) preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift.
