Job summary

KLOVER is seeking a Carpenter Wall Panel Installer to install light gauge metal wall panels and curtainwall panels, reading blueprints and work orders, and coordinating with foremen. This role requires precise measuring, layout, fabricating or alteration, and fastening to project specs.

The position involves installing panels to code, working at heights, and using rigging and lifting equipment in indoor and outdoor settings across the Tri-State area.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• 1+ year experience with panel or structural steel installation.
• Knowledge of construction safety devices and PPE.
• Rigging and Signaling experience is a plus.
• Carpentry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and layout parts using a tape measure.
• Fabricate or alter parts using grinders, sawzalls, shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
• Join materials with fasteners or adhesives.
• Install wall panel products according to specifications and building codes.
• Use levels, plumb bobs, lasers to ensure accuracy.
• Check work for quality and compliance with specs.
• Install/operate rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Maintain safe work practices and PPE.
