Job summary

Klover Contracting is seeking an Ironworker / Field Welder to support exterior and interior wall panel installations for commercial buildings within the Quakertown PA region. The role requires welding in multiple positions, heavy equipment handling, and adherence to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of stick welding experience and a related trade background, with strong measurement and layout skills and a commitment to PPE and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Participation in a secondary or post-secondary trade curriculum.
• 1+ year experience with stick welding.
• Field carpentry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety devices and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform welds using stick and MIG processes in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Maneuver units into position for installation and anchor units.
• Fabricate or alter parts using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
• Assist foreman with proper layout for work to be put in place.
• Read measurements with a tape measure and ensure level alignment.
• Maintain welding certification through logs and supervisor observation.
