Job summary

Klover Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Field Welder to support the installation of exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildings within the Quakertown area. You will perform stick and MIG welds, maintain certifications, and follow PPE safety protocols in dynamic construction environments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of stick welding experience, with field carpentry experience preferred. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Participation in a secondary or post-secondary trade curriculum.
• 1+ year experience with stick welding.
• Field carpentry experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction safety devices and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform welds using stick and MIG processes in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Maintain welding certification through required logs and supervisor observation.
• Maneuver units into position for installation and anchor the units.
• Fabricate or alter parts using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
• Assist foreman with proper layout for work to be put in place.
• Keep work area clean and productive.
