Egan Company is seeking a Panel Shop Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and optimize our panel shop production operations. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing operations of the panel shop, ensuring production goals are met while fostering a continuous improvement-focused culture. In this role, you will also act as a cross-functional bridge between production, engineering, and quality to drive strategic problem-solving, and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee high-level shop floor manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives, while managing staffing levels to ensure production schedules are met.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and lead process improvement initiatives within the panel shop. Drive 5S and Lean methodologies to target and remove operational waste throughout assembly, staging, and material flow processes. Develop and justify CAPEX initiatives with clear evidence of ROI.
  • Performance & Culture: Maintain and analyze key performance indicators (SQDC—Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost), drive cultural change through robust leadership, and facilitate tier-level coordination to align team communication.
  • Team Management: Oversee the Shop Foreman(s) and Shop Services Clerks; handle employee feedback, performance management, and mentorship.
  • Compliance: Uphold rigorous benchmarks for workplace safety and ensure all processes adhere to relevant industry standards (e.g., UL 508A).
  • Technology & Tooling Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend specialized tooling, fixtures, or automation opportunities that can streamline panel fabrication and kitting processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.
