Bring ideas to life through bold, thoughtful design in support of the Marketing team – from campaigns and brand initiatives to events and day-to-day communications. Egan Company is seeking a Marketing and Design Coordinator to create engaging visual assets that elevate marketing and communication initiatives across digital and print platforms. This role is ideal for a visually driven creative who excels at translating concepts and campaigns into compelling designs and creating confident layouts that drive results. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering polished work that makes an impact.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities of the Marketing and Design Coordinator include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Design and produce engaging graphics and visual assets across digital and print channels, including marketing campaigns, event signage, social media, email campaigns, website/blog, presentations, internal communication, and print materials.
  • Create and maintain visual templates for presentations, slide decks, email campaigns, and other customer and employee-facing communication.
  • Draft, write, edit, and actively maintain corporate resume (bios, resumes, project experience) for content marketing and usage in business development efforts. This includes ownership of our internal Project History Database app.
  • Make confident creative decisions, incorporating feedback while maintaining strong visual storytelling and design integrity.
  • Maintain brand identity and provide consistent quality control and proofreading for brand standards, grammar, messaging, sentence structure, and presentation conformance.
  • Create and maintain branded templates.
  • Support the execution of campaigns, marketing, and sales support materials/collateral for vertical market segments.
  • Serve on internal committees, as relevant.
  • Serve as marketing communications partner to corporate groups, as assigned.
  • Visit jobsites for promotion or content needs.
  • Maintain brand identity and provide consistent quality control and proofreading for brand standards, grammar, messaging, sentence structure, and presentation conformance.
  • Understand target audiences.
  • Support marketing and communications initiatives that advance the Egan brand.
  • Other tasks as needed for departmental support (may include corporate communication, employee engagement, corporate events, promotions, etc.).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or closely related degree encompassing similar coursework is required.
  • At least one year of related work in a marketing or related capacity.
Qualifications
  • Intermediate to Advanced technical skills across Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides, including proven solid verbal communication, writing and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability with Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects under competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Basic Business math (i.e.- Add, subtract, multiply, and dividing) to perform standard mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to communicate with other employees sufficiently, both verbally and written.
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment is highly preferred.
  • Previous MarComm agency experience is helpful but not required.
  • Experience or exposure to a construction, engineering, or architectural environment is helpful, though not required.
  • Photography and/or videography experience.
  • Strong creativity and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of/with digital community management (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs).
  • Ability to apply Associated Press (AP) style and Egan style guidelines to all content.
  • Proactive approach/self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of purpose, decisiveness, and urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability/aptitude to anticipate problems and suggest creative solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, collaborative, and team-oriented.
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Working Conditions
  • Performance of duties will mostly be in the office and/or at home.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional travel to jobsites may involve climbing ladders, walking on unlevel ground, being exposed to the elements, dirt, dust, and loud noises.

Pay Range: $27.88-$33.65 per hour (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
