Job summary

White Tail Automation, part of the Crimson Group, seeks a Panel Shop & Integrated Equipment Manager for our Midland, Texas facility. Lead a skilled team, plan daily production, and coordinate resources to deliver high-quality, safe panels on schedule.

You will oversee wiring, testing, and QA, review schematics and P&IDs, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring UL 508A/UL 121201 compliance and strong safety culture. Relocation to Midland is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in industrial control panel fabrication or electrical assembly.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a panel shop or related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial controls, PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and P&IDs.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and employee development.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Relocation to Midland, Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop panel shop technicians and apprentices.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate labor, materials, tooling, and production priorities to maximize shop efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Field Operations for project success.
• Oversee assembly, wiring, testing, and quality control of custom panels.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and P&IDs for accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for fabrication and testing.
• Ensure compliance with UL 508A and UL121201 requirements and applicable codes.
