Job summary

RED Group is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Manager (Industrial Control Panel Facility) to oversee our electrical panel shop operations. You will manage fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery of panels and switchgear, leading a skilled team of technicians while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading electrical panel manufacturing or similar operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEC safety standards and codes.
• Proven leadership to develop and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain TWIC as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and shipment of electrical control panels and switchgear.
• Lead a team of technicians, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project management to meet schedules and budgets.
• Ensure quality inspections and FAT, maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement through SOPs and best practices.
• Provide labor estimates and manufacturing input for project quotes.
