Job summary

Leer, Inc. is seeking a Panel Foamer to set up panels and materials in jigs for panel foaming at our facility. You will foam standard, stock and custom panels, select appropriate metals, and ensure proper application of materials in metal prep.

The role requires setting up jigs, maintaining accurate records, and inspecting finished panels for alignment and defects while collaborating with a small team. Physical duties include lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow all safe operating procedures and requirements.
• Ability to use small hand tools efficiently and safely.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to accurately figure shot times.
• Ability to operate all foam jigs efficiently.
• Ability to communicate in a team setting and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Foaming standard, stock and custom panels.
• Select correct metal for panels.
• Apply proper materials to panels in metal prep.
• Set up jigs for panel foaming.
• Keep records of panels produced as required.
• Clean excess foam/material off panels and inspect for defects.
