Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving are essential as you coordinate with maintenance for repairs. The role involves reading schematics, executing preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate production logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Minimum 2 years forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate foam production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Set up and calibrate equipment for each production run, including mixing ratios and material inputs.
• Monitor and adjust equipment parameters to maintain consistent production quality.
• Start and stop machinery and execute emergency shutdowns when necessary.
• Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials accurately based on production requirements.
• Inspect foam products for consistency and adhere to specifications; report issues.
