Paycom - ATS is seeking a production assistant to support lead technicians in assembling panel boxes, relay racks, and related components. The role involves reading basic drawings and schematics, using hand and power tools, and following procedures to build control panels per design specs.

Responsibilities include drilling, tapping, wiring to PLCs and relays, labeling, tolerances measurement, and assisting in final project completion and cleanup.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of experience with electrical theory or electrical assembly
• Ability to read schematics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Assemble parts and components under the lead technician's guidance
• Position, align and fasten units to subassemblies or frames using hand/power tools
• Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes per schematics
• Cut and connect cables/wires to PLC cards and relays per drawings
• Label wires/components and install identification labels and UL tags as required
• Measure tolerances with tape, rulers, calipers, micrometers; assist testing/inspection
• Study schematics to diagnose issues and understand unit operation
• Assist in final project stages (labels, photos, documentation, cleanup)
• Support other shop areas as needed; maintain a clean workspace
