Powermatic Associates Inc is seeking a Production Technician to assemble electrical components and wire complex layouts in enclosures. You will follow detailed instructions, verify functionality with a multimeter, and maintain a clean workspace in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience with schematics, panel building, and wiring; familiarity with VFDs/PLCs and UL508A standards is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with standard M-F hours.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for reading schematics and blueprints.
• Electrical/panel building experience preferred.
• Familiar with VFDs, PLCs, and DC drives design/start-up work.
• Experience with UL508A standards is desired.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong manual dexterity and precision in wiring tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and lay out components on a system per design specs.
• Wire and route cable harnesses in electrical cabinets as per schematics.
• Verify panel boards with a multimeter for continuity and function.
• Assist in wiring decisions based on training and data charts.
• Use hand tools, soldering, crimping, cutting and terminations as required.
• Discuss issues with supervisor/engineer to resolve assembly problems.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and safety rules.
