Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Production Technician to assist lead technicians in the assembly of panel boxes, relay racks and related units. You will work across departments as workloads require, performing tasks under guidance to gain the skills needed to advance toward lead technician.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand and power tools, measuring with calipers and tape, and following procedures to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• The ability to read schematics is required.
• 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly or related manufacturing.
• Produces high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and a cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components to subassemblies and frames using hand and power tools.
• Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes as directed.
• Cable and wire components according to schematics; label and identify wires.
• Measure parts and verify tolerances with tape, micrometers or calipers.
• Assist in inspection, testing and troubleshooting to meet specs.
• Learn schematics to diagnose issues with drawings and unit functionality.
• Support final project stages and shop cleanup at day end.
