Job summary

Cerebra Consulting Inc. is seeking a Firewall Engineer to administer roles and access within a Palo Alto environment and support secure remote connectivity.

This hybrid role requires hands-on provisioning, collaboration with stakeholders, and building scalable access structures to align with organizational changes. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, practical knowledge of Palo Alto firewall technology, VPNs, and Prisma tools, and the ability to balance stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in firewall engineering or a closely related IT security role.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall environments and VPN connectivity.
• Experience with Prisma Access VPN configurations and remote access.
• Familiarity with Prisma Browser and Strata Cloud Manager is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage provisioning of access roles and privileges within the Palo Alto environment.
• Support remote access for the organization and maintain an access request queue.
• Contribute to design and implementation of new roles and group-based access structures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify application requirements and map access accordingly.
