Qualifications

• 4-6 years of network/security engineering experience.
• Experience creating and updating firewall access policy requests.
• Hands-on Palo Alto Firewall experience (strongly preferred).
• Experience with VPN firewall configurations.
• Firewall rule implementation and policy management.
• Networking fundamentals including routing protocols.
• Network hardware and software.
• Security technologies.
• Experience working ticket queues and implementing firewall changes.
• Firewall certifications preferred/required by client.

Responsibilities

• Process firewall-related tickets from the ticketing system.
• Create and update firewall access policies within Palo Alto firewalls.
• Implement firewall rules aligned with company security policies.
• Support data flow into and out of enterprise datacenters.
• Configure and maintain VPN firewall solutions.
• Test, tune, and optimize firewall security configurations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and security issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on firewall requests.
• Ensure proper security controls and compliance standards are maintained.
