Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Firewall Engineer to administer roles and access within the Palo Alto environment and to support secure remote connectivity using Prisma Access.

You will manage an access provisioning queue, help design role-based access structures amid organizational changes, and collaborate with business stakeholders to align application requirements with security policies. This is a 12+ month contract with 4 onsite days and 1 remote day each week.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in firewall/security
• Palo Alto firewall/VPN expertise
• Experience with Prisma Access VPN
• Experience with Prisma Browser
• Experience with Strata Cloud Manager

Responsibilities

• Administer roles and access privileges in Palo Alto environment.
• Support remote access across the organization using Prisma Access.
• Manage an access request queue with timely provisioning.
• Contribute to design and implementation of new roles and group-based access.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify application requirements and align access.
