Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana, is hiring a Palliative Care RN to provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care for seriously ill individuals, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and no routine nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will coordinate across care teams, educate families, assess symptoms, and support advance care planning, with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; compact license transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited program; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and family care across services.
• Educate patients and families about options and resources.
• Assess symptoms and support symptom management plans.
• Triage calls and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary, specialty, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient journey.
