Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana, seeks a compassionate Palliative Care RN to join our team. You will coordinate care for patients and families, educate them on options, and support symptom management within a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, social workers, chaplains, and home health providers in a setting that values compassionate, whole-person care and professional development, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; compact license holders must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited program; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and serve as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Provide education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate with providers on symptom management plans.
• Triage patient and family calls, questions, and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary, specialty, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the journey.
