Job summary

Intermountain Health's Palliative Care team in Billings, Montana, seeks an experienced RN to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and support advance care planning.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no routine nights, weekends, or holidays, plus a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic, patient- and family-centered care across the journey.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice; compact license transfers within 60 days of employment.
• BSN from an accredited program; education verified.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and act as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and support management plans with providers.
• Triage calls, questions, and care concerns from patients and families.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning discussions and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the journey.
