Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana is seeking a Palliative Care RN to join our compassionate team. You will coordinate care for patients and families, educate about diagnosis and options, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to support symptom management and advance care planning.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), no routine nights or weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited institution; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and act as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate on symptom management plans.
• Triage calls, questions, and care concerns from patients and families.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient journey.
