Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Palliative Care RN in Billings, Montana to provide compassionate, holistic care for patients and families facing serious illness.

You will support symptom management, education, and coordinated care across the team to promote dignity and quality of life. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no routine nights, weekends, or holidays, and a strong culture of compassion, belonging, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited institution; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within 4 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and navigate palliative care for patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and support management plans with providers.
• Triage calls and care concerns from patients and families.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient journey.
