Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Palliative Care RN in Billings, MT, to coordinate care and support patients and families facing serious illness. You will educate families, assess symptoms, and collaborate with a wide interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes advance care planning, care coordination, and ongoing follow-up, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state/profession is required.
• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for palliative patients and act as navigator for families.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate on symptom management plans.
• Triage calls and address care concerns from patients and families.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning discussions and document accordingly.
