Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care team. The role supports East Orlando and Altamonte, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, at 2501 N. Orange Ave., Suite 235.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, wound and IV care, and patient/family education. RN licensure and BLS are required; experience with EHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with nursing documentation and EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimens).
• Advocate for patient safety and rights; provide family education.
• Engage patients in care through motivational interviewing and teach-back.
