Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health’s Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ, is seeking a board-certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician for a 100% clinical inpatient role with potential ambulatory growth.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop a new palliative care program, provide patient- and family-centered care, mentor residents, and help shape clinical protocols across the system. A strong commitment to compassionate care is essential.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Medicine with fellowship training OR 2+ years of experience in HPM.
• Must hold or be eligible for NJ Medical License, DEA, and CDS.
• Team-oriented physician capable of handling emotionally challenging situations.

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated, board-certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician to join our successful program in North Bergen. This is a 100% clinical role focused on providing exceptional, patient-centered care in primarily an inpatient setting with potential growth for an ambulatory setting.

Alongside a multidisciplinary team, including a full-time nurse practitioner and social worker, you will help to build a new palliative care program at Palisades Medical Center. REQUIREMENTS:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Medicine with fellowship training OR 2+ years of experience in the HPM field.
• A team-oriented physician with the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and provide personalized patient and family support.
• Must hold or be eligible for a current NJ Medical License, DEA, and CDS.
