Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonologist to join the growing team at Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen, New Jersey. As a Pulmonologist with our group, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing the latest medical advancements to treat a variety of pulmonary conditions. You will work in a collaborative environment with a team of specialists and support staff who are all committed to delivering exceptional care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide comprehensive general pulmonary medicine care, adhering to the highest standards of practice.
  • Manage and oversee the hospitalization of patients requiring in‑patient care, ensuring continuity and quality of treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of consulting physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including minimally invasive and traditional techniques.
  • Participate in a regular on‑call schedule, including weekends and hospital calls, to provide continuous patient support.
  • Engage in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives within the community.
  • Contribute to our ongoing quality improvement and assurance activities to enhance patient outcomes.
