Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Inc seeks an on-site production/operations teammate in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves safety compliance, quality checks, and supporting multiple production steps, from packaging to palletizing.

You will work across Hardener, Bundling, Palletizing, Input, Currie, and Shipping functions while helping train new team members and ensuring daily targets are met with adherence to GMP/HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and co-workers.
• Support quality programs: GMP, HACCP, MCP and plant citizenship goals.
• Operate and contribute to various production steps (Hardener, Bundling, Palletizing, Input, Currie, Shipping).
• Mentor and onboard new team members; participate in problem solving within the unit and teams.
• Maintain documentation and follow-up on daily information for inventory control and cost tracking.
