Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is hiring for a pallet sorting operator in New Jersey. You will operate a pallet sorting machine, perform inspections, and may use a forklift to load/unload trailers. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork drives daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn machine and forklift operation (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a large industrial pallet sorting machine to sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade.
• Perform hands-on inspections and manual sorting as needed.
• May operate a forklift (training & certification provided) to load/unload trailers and move materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace through Clean as You Go practices.
• Lift up to 70 lbs consistently and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
• Meet production and quality goals while working collaboratively with your team.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by site leadership.
