Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is hiring pallet sorters in Petersburg, VA. The role involves visually inspecting pallets, sorting by manufacturer and quality, and meeting production goals in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You should be able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks, with forklift experience a plus and training provided. Our team emphasizes safety, teamwork, and growth opportunities within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection.
• Identify and assess repair needs using established criteria.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Follow safety protocols to help achieve PTZ goals.
• Support your team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace (“Clean as You Go”).
• May operate a forklift safely and efficiently (certification provided).
• Understand and communicate our products and services in the supply chain context.
