Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is hiring pallet sorters in Virginia, Petersburg. Work hours Sat–Mon, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, pay $18/hour. Join a family-oriented team focused on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will inspect pallets, identify repair needs, meet production goals, and follow PTZ safety protocols while supporting the team with additional duties as needed. Training provided for forklift use.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection.
• Identify and assess repair needs using established criteria.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Follow safety protocols to help us achieve our Plan To Zero (PTZ) goals.
• Support your team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace (Clean as You Go).
• May operate a forklift safely and efficiently (certification provided).
