Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking dedicated Pallet Sorters in Petersburg, VA to join a fast-paced warehouse team. The role focuses on sorting pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade, using visual inspection to identify repair needs and maintain product quality.

Your responsibilities include meeting production goals, following safety protocols, and supporting the team with various duties as directed by site leadership. Training for forklift operation is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection.
• Identify and assess repair needs using established criteria.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to support PTZ goals.
• Assist team with other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What Youll Do

• Sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection.
• Identify and assess repair needs using established criteria.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Follow safety protocols to help us achieve our Plan To Zero (PTZ) goals.
• Support your team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What You Bring

• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
