Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets and move materials in our Eastford, CT facility. This role supports safe, efficient production by handling wood pallets and finished goods according to plant needs.

The position offers an hourly pay of $19.00, 1st shift Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Candidates should have 1–3 years of forklift experience and the ability to work in a labor-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Warehouse/logistics or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and work in a labor-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and wood to the correct location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with others in mind.
