Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Pallet Picking Associate to support outbound operations at the PDC. You will locate, move, and prepare large quantities of product for shipping, using RF devices and pallet jacks.

This on-site role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating forklifts; schedule Sun, Fri, Sat, 5am–5pm. Relocation or sign-on bonuses may apply for certain full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification (provided by Digi-Key) is required.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Proficient with basic computer navigation and typing.
• Ability to multi-task and shift focus quickly as needed.
• Demonstrated time management and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and KPI achievement.
• Regular use of OrderPicker, Turret Truck, and forklifts with safety.

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve and move product to locations in a timely manner.
• Use handheld devices to direct order picking; may go up to 30 ft.
• Transport non-conveyable product to area for actioning via RF device.
• Assist in locating product to expedite orders as needed.
• Pick parts using handheld device with location mapping.
• Operate PIV equipment safely with limited supervision.
• Participate as a team to meet departmental goals.
• Maintain high safety standards and accuracy of KPI targets.
• Uphold safe handling and organizational procedures.
