Job summary

PLA, a leader in pallet management and 3PL services based in Dallas, is seeking a Skilled Warehouse Worker – Pallet Dismantler. The role involves dismantling pallets, evaluating components for reuse, and maintaining high-quality standards.

You will work with a partner to operate equipment and ensure safe, efficient production on the line. Applicants should have experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or construction, with a strong focus on safety, detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or construction preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-focused.
• Ability to work with a partner to operate dismantling processes.
• Capacity to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and perform manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle pallets using various equipment.
• Partner with another dismantler to operate production equipment.
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adjust equipment settings as needed to meet production targets.
• Evaluate pallet components for usability and PLA standards.
• Store reusable components and dispose of unusable pieces.
• Meet or exceed daily production requirements.
• Maintain a clean workspace to reduce accidents.
