Clayton is seeking a Pallet Builder in Morristown, TN to assemble pallets used for interior doors and to support various stages of homebuilding operations. This role requires physical activity and a team-focused attitude, with opportunity for growth and benefits.

• Place lumber strip on frame rack and piece together using a nail gun.
• Stack finished pallets in staging area.
• Disassemble returned pallets from home building facilities and repair.
• Ensure work area is clean and organized.
• Perform duties in other work area as assigned.

Summary

The Pallet Builder assembles pallets to be used for stacking and movement of interior doors

Duties/Responsibilities

• Place lumber strip on frame rack and piece together using a nail gun
• Stack finished pallets in staging area
• Disassemble returned pallets from home building facilities and repair
• Ensure work area is clean and organized
• Perform duties in other work area as assigned

Required Skills And Abilities

• Able to lift 35 lbs.
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must have ability to work independently and as a team member Must care about quality.
• Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
• Must be reliable.
