Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret imperial system.
• Successful completion of pneumatic nailer training.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related experience is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety guidelines and protocols.
• Inspect and repair pallets for defects including broken boards and blocks, nail defects, debris, and contamination; correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
• Lift and carry materials as needed.
• Ensure materials and products are properly stored to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.
• Sort and stack pallets and materials by size and grade utilizing APC methods.
• Complete and turn in all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, State and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements.
• Clean and maintain all responsible work areas in an organized manner.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Position summary:

The Pallet Assembly/General Labor position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations. By performing physical tasks and assisting skilled workers, the General Laborer plays a vital role in the success of our projects. Ultimately, this position is key to delivering quality results that meet our clients' expectations.
