Job summary

Dinosaur Ridge seeks a Manager of Camps and Collections to oversee its state-certified collections repository and exhibit collections, including acquisition, documentation, housing, use, preservation, and access. The role also co-leads paleontology-related camp experiences, ensuring content is scientifically accurate and compliant with licensing requirements.

You will collaborate with the Director of Paleontology and Director of Education Programs, train volunteers, develop SOPs, manage loans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/collections management/education is required.
• Experience with collections management and museum curation is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day care of collections, including acquisition, documentation, housing, and access.
• Co-lead planning and growth of paleontology-related camp experiences for youth and others.
• Collaborate with Directors on policy development, SOPs, and exhibit planning.
