Job summary

Imagineering Finishing Technologies is hiring Painting Technicians in Indianapolis, IN. Two shifts are available: 1st shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 3rd shift 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Training for 3rd shift starts on 1st shift before transition.

You will spray parts with chemical compounds and report to a supervisor and plant manager. The role requires a high school diploma, basic math and reading comprehension skills, and flexibility to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills to count quantities required.
• Reading comprehension skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend specific work instructions.
• Perform basic spraying techniques.
• Handle materials including chemicals safely per process.
• Mix chemicals and test viscosity levels for concentrations.
• Maintain, set up, use and clean equipment used in processes.
• Monitor VOC usage and emissions from paint booths.
